The hotel has been at the centre of Hitchin’s way of life since its opening in 1523. It first rose to prominence during the English Civil War, when it served as the headquarters for the 3,000 parliamentary soldiers quartered in the town.
The Sun Hotel of the present day, is a comfortable relaxing venue to enjoy anything from light meals and snacks to formal dinners.
