Accommodation Facilities

We have 32 bedrooms, all en-suite with remote controlled television, mini hi-fi, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and tea and coffee making facilities. Should any of your wedding guests require accommodation we would ask that they contact Reception and request a room, stating that they are attending your wedding.

They will then be asked to provide their name, a credit card number or confirmation letter to secure the booking. At the time of booking the receptionist will advise of room rates. Our price includes a full English breakfast and VAT. As a guest at your wedding, we offer a 10% reduction on the published room tariff rates.

Reception Room Hire Facilities

The Ballroom Suite

The historic Ballroom with its high ceiling, wooden inlaid floor and large picture windows is in an ideal setting for your wedding reception.
It has a separate bar and lounge area and is situated on the first floor of the hotel. Unfortunately no lifts are available. The Ballroom Suite is available to sit up to 100 guests, and with the bar and lounge area we can cater for 150 people in the evening.

The Courtyard Suite

This is situated on the ground floor with direct access to the historic Courtyard.
The suite includes the Tavistock Room, restaurant, bar and lounge areas, with a purpose-built dance floor laid in the lounge, making the whole suite a self-contained function area for up to 60 diners and 100 evening guests.
